( It was great fun and an honor to have worked with Harvey Kurtzman,
the cartoon editor at Esquire at the time.
Harvey has since passed and is remembered as one of the greatest
influences in comic book art and satire in the 20th century.
MAD, E.C Comics are at the top of an impressive list
that includes many well known celebrities and artists as well.
My sense of visual humor was no doubt influenced by MAD during
my formative years and to have worked with Harvey as a
professional artist was quite a thrill. )
